Refund Policy

1. Overview
At Layered Labs, we want you to be fully satisfied with SnapAPI. We offer a straightforward 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All paid subscription plans (Pro and Business) are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee:
- You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase
- You may also request a full refund within 14 calendar days of any subscription renewal
- No questions asked — simply contact us and we will process your refund
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@layeredlabs.dev with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include the email address associated with your SnapAPI account
- Provide the approximate date of the charge you would like refunded
We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and process the refund within 5–10 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method through Paddle, our payment processor.
4. Refund Details
- Full refund:Refunds are issued for the full amount of the current billing period. There is no partial or prorated refund — you receive a complete refund of the monthly charge.
- No proration: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period outside the 14-day guarantee window. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis.
- One refund per period: The 14-day guarantee applies once per billing cycle. If you have already received a refund for the current period, additional refund requests for the same period will not be honored.
- Currency: Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original transaction.
5. After a Refund
Once a refund is processed:
- Your subscription will be canceled and your account will be downgraded to the Free plan
- You will retain access to the Service under the Free plan limits (100 requests per month)
- Any API requests exceeding Free plan limits will be rejected until you resubscribe to a paid plan
- Your API keys and account data will be preserved — you can resubscribe at any time
6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support@layeredlabs.dev. When you cancel:
- You will continue to have access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan
7. Free Plan
The Free plan is provided at no cost and is not subject to this Refund Policy. No charges are made for Free plan usage, therefore no refunds apply.
8. Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following cases:
- The refund request is made more than 14 days after the charge
- The account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Evidence of abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles)
In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside the 14-day window on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
9. Payment Processor
All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, tax compliance, and payment processing. Refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. While we process refunds within 5–10 business days, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
